Liliana Aguiar is a Portuguese international model, television presenter, author and entrepreneur with nearly three decades of experience in the fashion, media and entertainment industries.
Born in Porto, Portugal, on 9 March 1980, Liliana began her modelling career at the age of 16, quickly establishing herself in the Portuguese fashion industry before expanding her career internationally.
An International Modelling Career
Throughout her career, Liliana has represented Portugal in four international beauty and modelling competitions, achieving one of her most significant successes at the prestigious Look Model Search in Prague, Czech Republic, where she was awarded second place.
In 2000, she also competed in Miss Portugal, earning the titles of Second Runner-Up and Miss Photogenic.
Her modelling career has taken her across different countries and international markets. She also lived in Egypt, where she further developed her professional experience in the fashion industry.
Over the years, Liliana has worked on numerous fashion shows, advertising campaigns, editorial productions and commercial projects, including haircare and beauty campaigns, as well as lingerie campaigns for the internationally recognised brand Triumph.
She has also walked the runway at ModaLisboa (Lisbon Fashion Week) and Portugal Fashion, two of Portugal’s most prestigious and influential fashion events, showcasing her experience in high-profile runway productions.
Her work has also included editorial features and photographic productions for fashion and lifestyle publications, including GQ, Maxmen, Einai and Hype.
Television and Media Career
Alongside her successful modelling career, Liliana developed a strong presence in Portuguese television, becoming a familiar face to audiences across the country.
Her television journey gained national recognition in 2001 through the third edition of Big Brother Portugal, broadcast on TVI.
She subsequently expanded her career into television presenting, acting and entertainment.
In 2007, she became a television presenter on TVI’s Toca a Ganhar, broadcasting live from Madrid, Spain. She later presented Sempre a Somar, further establishing her skills in live broadcasting, communication and audience engagement.
Throughout her career, she has appeared in several television productions, including Maré Alta, Destinos Cruzados, A Quinta and A Tarde é Sua, and has worked as a television commentator on Big Brother.
With extensive experience in front of the camera, Liliana has built a career combining fashion, television, public speaking and media communication.
Author and Entrepreneur
Beyond modelling and television, Liliana is also the author of two autobiographical books, Despida de Preconceitos (2021) and Vestida de Mudança (2024), in which she shares personal experiences, life lessons and her journey of transformation.
In 2023, she moved to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, embracing a new international chapter in her personal and professional life.
Since relocating, she has continued to explore opportunities in modelling, media, real estate, entrepreneurship, health and wellness.
