Karen Beggs is a proud boy mum, Chief Human Resources Officer, published author, and passionate advocate for resilience, mental health, and supporting others through life's most difficult moments.
For more than 17 years, Karen has built her career across the Middle East, leading people and culture functions throughout the region. As a true Mrs Middle East, she spends much of her time travelling between countries, working with organisations to develop strong leaders, healthy workplace cultures, and environments where people can thrive.
But Karen's proudest role is being a mother. Her son is her greatest achievement and the inspiration behind her belief that strength is not measured by what we achieve, but by how we show up for the people we love.
As a Trustee of The Katie Trust, Karen supports families navigating the unimaginable challenge of investigating the suspicious death of a loved one. Having experienced loss and devastation herself, she understands the impact that grief, uncertainty, and mental health struggles can have on individuals and families.
Her purpose is simple: if sharing her story, her strength, or her support helps just one woman believe she can get through today, then it is worth it.
Outside of work and charity, Karen enjoys weightlifting, music, and prioritising the physical and mental wellbeing that has helped her overcome life's challenges.
Karen is competing for Mrs Middle East to champion resilience, inspire others to keep moving forward, and prove that strength, compassion, and purpose are the most powerful crowns a woman can wear.
