I am Yasmin Kundethe, born and bred 34 years ago in the vibrant and trailblazing country, South Africa! Residing and working in Abu Dhabi in hospitality industry within the Food & Beverage Department.

A performing artist and transformation agent within Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Southern Africa Alumni for Civic Leadership, focusing on environmental issues including social development within underprivileged communities.

What I stand for is based on my burning passion for the Green Economy field whether is in Innovation, Climate Change, Sustainability, Conservation or Waste Management. My focus now is in Food Security & Food Waste Reduction as a women leader within promoting social inclusion and resource efficiency.

I anticipate to use the Miss Middle East platform by creating furthermore awareness, education and to motivate more young women to embark on the green and blue engagement. Women's leadership is crucial for building a sustainable and inclusive green economy. By addressing barriers and creating opportunities, more women can be empowered to play a central role in shaping a greener and more equitable future.
