اسمي فاطمه. من دولة الامارات العربيه المتحده. مشاركه في مسابقة ملكة جمال الشرق الاوسط ،سبب مشاركتي في المسابقه هو حبي و رغبتي بدخول هذا المجال منذ الصغر لكن في ذلك الوقت لم تكن الظروف تسمح لي …و اليوم الحمدلله ربي وفقني و استطعت ان ادخل هذا المجال و ابدا تجربتي و انجز حلم من احلامي و السبب الرئيسي لرغبة دخولي في هذا المجال غير انه كان حلم الطفوله هو تحدي لنفسي و اثبات بأنني استطيع و اصبح متاح بنفس الوقت .. و اليوم اريد ان اشجع الفتيات اللاتي يريدون ان يتألقن في هذا المجال او لديهم حلم اريد ان اقول لها بأنها تستطيع ان تبدأ مسيرتها و وان تحققه. لانك تستطيعين ولكن تحتاجين الى الثقه و البدأ به و التوفيق الاول و الاخير من رب العالمين. الحمدلله رب العالمين نحن ف دوله تدعم جميع المجالات. كوني امراه اماراتيه و من دولة تعتبر متحفظه و اسلاميه. من الطبيعي ان يكون هناك نوع من الاستغراب لدخولي بمجال ملكة الجمال لان الصوره المترسخه قديمه جدا و انه من المستحيل قبول فتاة متحجبة و لكن الواقع غير ذلك تماما الفكر و الوعي و التنوع حاليا موجود. وانا اقبل هالتحدي وأؤمن بنفسي انني استطيع وجميعكم تستطيعون.
My name is Fatma, and I’m from the UAE. I’m taking part in Miss Middle East, a competition I’ve always wanted to be a part of since I was a child — but back then, the opportunity just wasn’t there for me. Now, thank God, I’ve been able to pursue that dream, start this new experience, and achieve something I’ve always hoped for.
The main reason I chose to do this, aside from it being a lifelong passion, is to challenge myself and show that I’m able to succeed and make a mark. At the same time, I want to inspire other girls who wish to follow their own paths — to let them know that they can do it. All they need is confidence, a strong start, and, most of all, God’s guidance.
Alhamdulillah, we live in a country that supports opportunity in all fields. As an Emirati woman from a somewhat conservative and Islamic society, it’s completely normal for some people to be surprised by my participation in a beauty pageant — especially when I’m wearing a hijab. The old view was that this was impossible, but today, attitudes have changed. There’s greater awareness, understanding, and diversity, and I’m proud to be a part of that. I believe I can make it — and you can too.
